Welcome Message from the Pastor
Dear Child of God,
Welcome to the First United Methodist Church of Mystic, Connecticut. I am glad you are visiting with us today. I pray for God's blessings upon your life, family and career. My prayer and hope as you peruse through our church website is to see you join us in worship one of these Sundays. We are a church that wants to see all people come to a saving knowledge of Christ and to enjoy a fruitful walk with God and their creator. We also want each member of our church family to be involved in God's work according to his or her gifts or talents. No one is turned away from our church. Ours is a sweet fellowship that welcomes all people regardless of background, race, gender, status or country of origin. We believe that God called us to minister to the needs of all people. When God gives you the opportunity to worship with us one of these Sundays, you will notice that our church is blessed with gifted and dedicated church members, volunteers, and a range of support groups that meet in our church during the week.
As the pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Mystic, Connecticut, I do trust you will enjoy our church website. Now that you have taken the first step to visit us, I would love to get to meet you in person. It is my hope and desire that as God the father of our Lord Jesus Christ gives you the opportunity you will join us one of these Sundays for worship. Our Sunday worship service begins at 9:00 AM.
